Marsha Nwanne is the founder of Equality Development and Research Centre (EDR Centre). She is an experienced human rights lawyer, researcher and anti- bullying advocate with ten years knowledge working with national and international non-governmental organizations in Nigeria. Marsha has proven ability to conduct field and desk research on a range of human rights issues such as civil, political, economic social and cultural rights. She has also led and successfully completed high risk research on crisis issues. Her rich knowledge in conflict management , workplace wellbeing and culture, governance, gender mainstreaming, policy advocacy, youth and civil society development has been found very useful in different organizations. Marsha holds an LLM in oil and gas law, from the University of Aberdeen, UK and an MSc in Peace and Conflict Studies from the National Open University of Nigeria. She bagged an LLB (Hons) from the prestigious University of Nigeria and later proceeded to be called to the bar after successfully passing out from the Nigerian Law School, Lagos. She stands out as one of the pioneer anti- bullying advocates in Nigeria.

The Equality Development and Research Centre (EDR Centre) is a women-led non-profit organization dedicated to combating workplace bullying .
At the EDR Centre, we implement three key strategies in our mission to address workplace bullying: prevention, intervention, and monitoring. We’ve successfully partnered with numerous educational institutions in Nigeria, particularly in the Federal Capital Territory, as well as diverse public and private workplaces, making a significant impact in combatting workplace bullying.
The organization was registered with the Nigerian Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) in February 2022 and currently located at Novare Central, Zone 5, Dalaba Street, Wuse, Abuja.
